STF Group at Plastics Recycling Show India 2026 in Mumbai
STF Group exhibited at Plastics Recycling Show India (PRS India) 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO) in Mumbai from 31 August to 2 September 2026. The event was held together with Bharat Recycling Show. At booth P510, STF Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH presented solutions for processing and sorting PET, HDPE and PP streams.
Discussions focused on requirements for stable processes and defined recyclate qualities. In the packaging sector, closed loops and bottle-to-bottle applications are becoming increasingly important. This also increases the requirements for processing used plastic packaging: material streams must be reliably prepared, sorted and qualified for the downstream application.
India is therefore a strategically important future market for STF Group. With around 1.46 billion inhabitants in 2025, the country is one of the largest markets worldwide (source: UNFPA). STF Group has been systematically expanding its presence in India for some time and uses direct exchange with recyclers, brand owners and partners to better understand local requirements.
“India is a market with significant technological potential for STF. Our discussions in Mumbai showed that, alongside capacity and economic efficiency, the reproducible quality of the recyclate is particularly important. By combining mechanical processing, sorting technology and process expertise, we can develop solutions aligned with the material stream, target quality and downstream application.”
— Dirk Leiber, Sales Director of STF Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH
STF Group’s strategic advantage lies in its integrated view of the entire process — from mechanical processing, washing, separation and sorting through to conveying and transfer to downstream process steps. This results in system concepts that are designed not only for throughput, but also for the required material quality and operational reliability.
Participation in PRS India 2026 underlines STF Group’s objective to further expand its international presence and offer Indian customers technical solutions for robust recycling loops.
